After you have successfully logged in using your KRA PIN Number and iTax Password, the iTax iPage account will automatically appear. This is the same as the KRA Web Portal Account. Click on the ‘Debt and Enforcement’ tab. Below it, a drop-down sub-menu tab scribbled ‘Request for Waiver of Penalties and Interests’ will pop-up. Click on it so that you can proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Fill in the Application Form for Waiver
Step 3 is the most significant step in the waiver application process. The KRA Waiver Application Form will contain multiple fields. For instance, it will have Section A, Section B, the Applicant Information section, Upload Document, and Details of Waiver segment. Go ahead and fill in all these details. Ensure you also add the liability details of the waiver. Double-check the information you have provided to ensure that it is accurate.
After that, you will be required to upload the KRA waiver letter. You ought to choose the tax obligation (Income Tax Resident Individual) option and then the tax type, which, in our case, is the Penalty.
