• Files an interim annual return in ecitizen.go.ke
• Files CR 9

Before removing a director, the organization has to ensure that the director meets one of the following thresholds:

• Resigns and submits a resignation letter to the company
• Is declared bankrupt or makes any amendments with their creditors
• Is removed from office as per Regulation 96 of Part I of Table “A” or Article 32
• Becomes of unsound mind
• Is banned from the director position by reasons stipulated under Section 189 of the Act
